freaknightphase1 Our community sure is a LUCKY one!! We have amazing music every weekend, great venues, and best of all - a fantastic dance family! As we get ready for our annual journey to the end of the rainbow - Lucky 2014 - we are once again relaying the importance of keeping our united state of consciousness a safety-minded one! In our ongoing dedication to create the healthiest dance environment for all, we've put together a brand new video for The Message featuring our Conscious Crew. In this message the Conscious Crew members discuss why they are so passionate about being a part of this project and all the ways they help out at the USC festivals.

Please share this video with your friends to help keep our music, art, and culture positive for years to come… and remember to high-five any Conscious Crew you see wandering the WaMu this March!

Watch The Message - Conscious Crew

Our community is what keeps us going through the long days and sleepless nights.
Together, we will ensure that our music, art, and culture stay positive.
And that is The Message!

Here are some ways you can help us reach our goals with "The Message"!
• Water equals life. We have free water flowing throughout the venue to replenish your body and keep you hydrated all night long.
• Strangers can be your best friends. Keep an eye out for our volunteer rovers who’ll lend a hand if needed.
• Our staff, security and medics never judge, so talk to them if you need help or see someone who does.
• People who get into drug or alcohol trouble at events are often with friends who don’t know what to do. Get help. Washington State law protects you.
• Let’s act responsibly. We are a community and we need to set our own boundaries.
• Take care of each other. If you see someone who could use help, don’t just walk by. Stop and talk.
• Burning calories takes energy. Your body needs dinner before the fun begins. Vendors will be available if you get hungry through the night.
• The music doesn’t stop, but you should. Take breaks and pace yourself.
• It's best to plan ahead so you have a safe and easy ride ready at the end of the night. If your plan falls through, our staff can help you make arrangements to get home.
• We care about you when you’re gone. Our culture is all about celebrating life. Keep the vibes positive and we’ll see you next time.

Resolution To all the Above & Beyond fans in Seattle,

Following the disappointment of NYE, we're pleased to announce the first of your long-overdue Group Therapy sessions via two nights at Showbox SoDo on February 15th and 16th.

Tickets for these shows are priced at $12 (plus fees) and will go on sale at 12pm PST Monday, February 10th. Neither Above & Beyond nor USC Events will be taking a fee from these shows - the cover charge will go solely towards venue, production and staffing costs. Several measures have been taken to ensure the tickets only go to real fans. There will be a limit of 2 tickets allowed per purchaser. These tickets will be sold online only and available exclusively for pickup via will call as patrons enter the event. These tickets are non-transferable. The credit card holder who purchased the tickets online will be required to show their ID with the name matching the online purchase upon entry.

Some of you may have traveled a long way to see Above & Beyond on NYE and will be unable to attend either of these shows. Others might miss out on the opportunity to purchase tickets or will be unavailable on these dates. It's an unfortunate reality that these two shows may not satisfy everyone who'd hoped to see Above & Beyond perform on NYE. In the end there really was no perfect solution to this situation and with limited date and venue options available, we felt the most important thing was to take action and do another Above & Beyond show in Seattle as soon as we could.

With that in mind, we wanted to let you know that we're also exploring a larger festival appearance in the region later in 2014 for Above & Beyond. We'll bring you more news on that as soon as we have it.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and we look forward to finally being able to bring some Group Therapy to Seattle on February 15th & 16th.

USC Events FAQ

1. What is the age limit on this show?
18+ w/ Full Bars for 21+

2. Why aren't you limiting this event to Resolution ticket holders?
Less than 50% of the tickets for Resolution were sold online, making it impossible for us to accurately track all ticket holders. We agonized over potential systems for ensuring Resolution ticket holders would get priority on these shows, but there was no simple fix and we did not want to jeopardize the shows themselves by delaying any further.

3. Why aren't you doing this show at a bigger venue like WAMU?
All venue options and possible dates in the region were explored and exhausted. After much deliberation we felt that these two shows in February, followed by a major festival appearance later this year was the best way to reach as many of the Northwest's Above & Beyond fans as possible in 2014.

4. Can I buy tickets to both nights?
Technically, this may be possible, but given the goal of these shows, we would politely request that you pick one night only, to ensure as many fans get the chance to buy tickets

5. It's going to be incredibly busy/long lines with everyone needing to pick tickets up via will call. How early before show time may we be able to pick up our tickets?
Additional staff will be brought on to make the will call pickup process as quick as possible on both nights.

Resolution 2014 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for Seattle and the entire Pacific Northwest region.  We feel very Lucky to be able to announce the rest of the artists that will join us on March 14th as the Emerald City is transformed into the Emerald Isle!

Several retail locations received Lucky 2014 tickets that DO NOT have a barcode printed on the ticket. If you purchased a ticket today and it DOES NOT have a barcode, you MUST exchange this ticket for a ticket with a barcode before you will be granted entry into Lucky 2014.

Starting tomorrow, tickets with no barcode can be exchanged at the Century Link Box Office (Northwest Box Office location) for a valid barcoded ticket. We strongly encourage everyone who needs to exchange their tickets to do so as soon as possible to avoid entry delays on the night of the event. For those that do not live in the Seattle area (or cannot make it to the Century Link Box Office beforehand) you may exchange your tickets at the WaMu Box Office on the day of the event.  Tickets without a barcode will not be accepted for entry and you will be directed to the box office for an exchange.

The following outlets still have limited numbers of properly barcoded tickets for sale:
Platinum Lights & Sounds in Seattle and Portland
Rainy Day Records in Olympia
Beat Street Records in Vancouver

Please help us spread this message to your friends to make sure everyone has properly barcoded tickets!

We apologize for this inconvenience, we'll see you at Lucky!
